Managing a quest

Creator how-to

Manage a quest

The manage view is the creator area for quest status, submission review, CSV export, finish actions, and finalization.

The manage flow is available after a quest is deployed. During the live phase, it shows activity and quest status. After the deadline or a finish action, it becomes the review and finalization area.

Live quest
Monitor joins, task completions, funding state, and deadline status.
Ended quest
Review submissions by task tab and approve the entries that match the quest guidelines.
Finalized quest
Confirm claim availability and direct included participants back to the quest page.

Open the manage view

1
Open the quest page
The quest tile shows funding state, live status, participant count, and claim availability.
2
Click Manage
The manage page opens in a locked state because review and reward selection are owner-only.
3
Unlock review
A wallet message confirms creator ownership before review data is shown.
Manage view scope
Participants join and tasks verify from the quest page. The manage view is mainly for status checks, review, export, and finalization.

Review applications

After the quest ends, pending submissions become the review set. Approved submissions are used to credit XP points to participants and prepare the final reward result.

Task tabs

Submissions are grouped by task. The tab layout keeps review focused when a quest includes several task types.

Approve submissions

Selected submissions are the approved entries used for XP credit and reward preparation. Unselected submissions are excluded from the final reward result.

1
Approve submissions across task tabs
Selection accumulates across tabs. The running count stays visible while review continues.
2
Prepare the reward draft
The app prepares the reward result implied by the current approved set. This is still a preview.
3
Review the allocation before publishing it
The preview shows how many wallets will be rewarded, the total approved XP, and the token-denominated allocation per wallet. This is the final check before wallet confirmation.

Ordered vs randomized rewards

Ordered rewards use approved XP to rank and allocate the funded pool, so higher approved credit can receive a larger share. Randomized rewards use the approved set as the eligible pool, then select the configured number of winners before claims open.

Finalize the quest

1
Finish the quest
Finalization becomes available only after the quest has ended. If needed, the creator can use the finish action to close an active quest early before review.
2
Review and confirm the reward result
The app shows the final reward result before the wallet action. This step is one-time and cannot be changed after confirmation.
3
Open claims or select winners
Standard quests open claims after finalization. Randomized winner quests may show a winner-selection action before claims open.
