About Signals

What is Signals
Signals is a platform for running social quests with funded rewards on Arbitrum One. Projects configure a task set, participants complete supported tasks, and approved participants claim after finalization.
What is a quest
A short list of social tasks attached to a reward pool. Participants complete the tasks, Signals records eligible completions, and the project finalizes the approved reward result when the quest ends.
What chain does Signals run on
Arbitrum One. Quest deployment, funding, finalization, and claims happen on Arbitrum.
What does Signals provide
Signals combines provider-based task checks, wallet ownership, identity-to-wallet binding, creator review, and funded rewards in one quest flow.

For participants

Do I need a wallet
Yes. Ethereum-compatible wallets such as Rabby, MetaMask, Rainbow, and WalletConnect wallets can be used. The wallet must support Arbitrum One.
Why do I need to connect X
X is used as the primary quest identity check and for X-based tasks. The same X account cannot be reused by multiple wallets in the same quest.
Do I have to do every task to get paid
Reward eligibility depends on the project's quest rules and review decisions. The task list shows what is required before joining.
How long do quests run
The quest page shows the deadline selected by the project. Completed tasks remain recorded until the quest closes.
How do I know if I have been picked to receive a reward
After finalization, the quest page shows a Claim button when the connected wallet is included in the final reward result.
What if my task is not verifying
Provider checks can take a few seconds. If the task remains pending, refresh the quest page and try again from the same wallet and linked account, or contact the Signals team through their contact channels.
Can I complete a quest from multiple wallets
No. Provider identities are bound to the participating wallet for the quest. The same X account cannot join the same quest from another wallet.

For creators

How long does it take to launch a quest
Quest creation takes a few minutes. Deployment is a single Arbitrum transaction. Once created, the quest still needs to be funded before participation can open.
Is launching free
The current free structure supports unlimited quest launches with one active quest at a time. Creators still fund the reward pool and pay normal Arbitrum network costs for wallet actions.
What tokens can I use for rewards
The current release supports USDC, USDT, and WETH on Arbitrum One.
Can I change quest parameters after deployment
No. Quest configuration is fixed after deployment. The dashboard shows a preview of the configuration before the deployment transaction. Only launched quests can be finished early.
Who decides who gets paid
The quest creator reviews submissions and finalizes the approved reward result after the quest ends. Finalization is a one-time action and cannot be changed afterward.
How does the anti-bot verification actually work
Signals uses wallet ownership, provider login, provider-specific checks, and identity-to-wallet binding. The exact check depends on the task type configured for the quest.
Can I run multiple quests at once
The current free structure supports unlimited quest launches with one active quest at a time.

Payments and tokens

How are rewards actually paid
After finalization, included participants claim from the quest page with their connected wallet. The claim action transfers the approved reward.
Does Signals take a fee from the reward pool
No. The funded reward pool is used for approved participant rewards. Signals does not take a protocol fee from the pool.
How fast do claims happen
A claim is an Arbitrum transaction. Timing depends on network confirmation and wallet handling.

Account and platform

What does Signals see about my X / Telegram / Discord
Signals only uses public or provider-shared information needed for task verification and account linking. Signals does not gain access to private information such as passwords or private messages.
Can I disconnect a linked account
Yes. The profile dropdown includes a Disconnect option for each provider. A disconnected provider must be linked again before it can be used in another quest.
What if I lose access to a linked account
If access to X, Telegram, or Discord is lost, tasks that require that provider cannot be completed until the account is recovered and linked again.
How do I report a bug or get help
Use the Overlap Discord support channel or contact @overlapfi on X.
