Setup

Quest setup includes task configuration, reward configuration, channel configuration, deployment, and funding.

Setup structure

Quest setup is a grouped configuration process rather than a set of unrelated steps. Tasks, rewards, channel dependencies, deployment, and funding should be treated as one setup sequence.

Task configuration

Supported task categories include X, Telegram, Discord, Website, and Custom tasks. Task configuration should match the current product capabilities and the intended participation model.

X tasks
Telegram tasks
Discord tasks
Website tasks
Custom tasks

Reward configuration

Reward setup covers token selection, pool sizing, and claim-window implications. Language in the interface should reflect the currently supported token model rather than promise unrestricted compatibility.

Reward token
Use a currently supported token that matches the project distribution plan.
Reward pool size
Pool size should align with expected participation and the intended reward per approved participant.

Channel configuration

Channel setup is part of setup, not a separate creator track. Telegram and Discord tasks may require one-time configuration before deployment.

Telegram setup
Telegram verification requires the Signals bot in the target group.
Discord setup
Discord verification requires the relevant server identifiers and, when used, role identifiers.

Deployment and funding

Deployment publishes the quest configuration. Funding activates the reward pool. These are separate creator actions but they belong to the same setup phase.

01
Configure quest fields
Set core fields, task definitions, and reward values in the setup form.
02
Deploy
Deploy the quest configuration to create the quest record and publish its route.
03
Fund
Fund the reward pool to make the quest available for live participation.
Related setup reference
Discord-specific identifier collection is documented separately on the Discord setup page and should be treated as part of channel setup.
