Lifecycle and states

Quest operations are best understood as a state model with different creator and participant actions in each phase.

State model

The quest lifecycle moves from setup to live participation, then review, finalization, and claims.

Setup
Quest configuration is prepared.
Creator: Set quest details, tasks, rewards, channels, deployment, and funding.
Participant: Not open.
Rewards: No claims.

Scheduled
The quest is funded and waiting for its start time.
Creator: Check the public page and promotion assets.
Participant: Not open until live.
Rewards: Pool funded.

Active
The quest accepts participants and task submissions.
Creator: Monitor participation and quest health.
Participant: Join and complete tasks.
Rewards: Claims unavailable.

Ending soon
The deadline is approaching.
Creator: Prepare for review.
Participant: Complete remaining tasks before the deadline.
Rewards: Claims unavailable.

Ended
Participation is closed.
Creator: Open the manage view and begin review.
Participant: Wait for review.
Rewards: Claims unavailable.

Review
Submissions are approved or excluded.
Creator: Review task tabs, approve valid submissions, and export CSV if needed.
Participant: Wait for finalization.
Rewards: Reward list not final.
7
Selection
Randomized winner selection is completed when raffle mode is used.
Creator: Use the winner-selection action when available.
Participant: Wait for selection.
Rewards: Claims unavailable.

Claims
The final reward result is available.
Creator: Communicate that claims are open.
Participant: Claim if included.
Rewards: Claim button available for included wallets.
